Husband Request Hat
• Worked in the round • Beginner friendly •
The Husband Request Hat came into being because my husband asked for a hat like a store-bought one that he saw. He wanted something that would hug his head, but not too tight, and look good even if he was wearing nice clothes.
This hat was just what my husband was hoping for, and it then became the most-requested hat among the other males in the house.
Why you will be happy to cast on this hat again and again:
The ribbed pattern lets it fit comfortably and looks polished when knitted with a solid or tonal yarn.
The easy rhythm of ribbing makes this perfect for knitting while watching tv, chatting, or traveling.
The pattern includes three sizes, so you can knit this for a wide range of head sizes.
The pattern was written with beginners in mind and includes instructions for working the first few rows flat, if joining in the round gives you trouble.
The pattern is written out row by row, with stitch counts provided any time there is a change, so you’ll always know you’re on track.
Men love it but (shh!) it works well for women, too.
What knitters say about the pattern:
“This is such a well written pattern; it’s a pleasure to knit.” - Xena
"So easy and fun to make! Hubby loves it! Thank you." – Joanne
